Dear Karelina,

Though this note is an expression of appreciation from the entire Lovell family; it is also a personal one from me as regards the wonderful service of Maritza Dearmas to my mother in law, Rose.

Maritza served as the primary daytime caregiver along with the presence of family members as Raymond and myself. She delivered outstanding care in every way that I could imagine. Maritza had a knack for giving a patient for whom any real sense of control over her destiny was gone, a sense of empowerment and dignity in many small ways. I thought the manner in which she conducted her duties was steady, sure, considerate and thoughtful.

Whenever I felt as if life was a little out of control, she’d arrive and whip everything into shape. I then felt secure and ready as a family member helping out to carry on when Maritza left for the day. She helped me become a better attendant for Rose. For Maritza it wasn’t just a job; she genuinely thinks of the person for whom she is caring.

From all of us, this letter comes with great thanks, our recommendation without reservation, and for an exemplary job.
